BOSS Coil System for Lead Service Line Replacement

Less Scrap. Lower Job Costs. Bid More Competively

Lead service line replacement projects rarely follow standard lengths. That creates unnecessary copper scrap, added handling, and lost margin for contractors working under tight timelines and competitive bids.

CopperBOSS™ from Cerro Flow Products brings a smarter solution to the jobsite. Designed around long-length Type K copper coils and a jobsite dispensing system, CopperBOSS™ allows contractors to cut the length they need, reduce material waste, and support faster, cleaner service line replacement work.

Built for the growing demand in lead service line replacement, CopperBOSS™ helps municipalities, utilities, distributors, and contractors move more efficiently from project planning to installation.

Built for Lead Service Line Replacement Projects

Traditional 60-foot and 100-foot coils often leave contractors with unused scrap when service line lengths vary from property to property.

The CopperBOSS™ System helps solve that problem with longer copper coils available in:

  • 3/4″ Type K – Up to 850 ft / coil and 1700 ft / machine
  • 1″ Type K – Up to 600 ft / coil and 1200 ft / machine
  • 1-1/4″ Type K – Up to 350 ft / coil and 700 ft / machine

By allowing crews to cut copper tube to the required length in the field, the system is designed to reduce leftover material and support more efficient installation planning.

Early field feedback from prototype projects in Indiana and Michigan has reported 25% to 35% scrap reduction.

Cut Scrap. Control Costs. Keep Lead Line Projects Moving.

The CopperBOSSTM was designed with real jobsite needs in mind.

It fits in a pickup truck, can be transported from job to job, and can go home with the crew at night with a custom tarp. That means contractors can better manage valuable copper material instead of leaving coils exposed on a jobsite.
